On Thursday, March 4th, we listed 53 Zuni Fetishes. Featuring 13 new Ricky frogs carved from beautiful natural gem stones such as Australian variscite, green variscite from Utah, White Angel variscite, four colors of turquoise, Nutria jasper and golden amber from Chiapas. Also included in this show are a a wide variety of pieces by Zuni artists such as the Leekya family, Travis Lasiloo, Lynn and Jayne Quam, Leland Boone, Stuart Quandelacy, Herb Halate, Jimmy Etsate, Hubert Pincion and Fabian, Vivella and Adrin Cheama. We have several striking bear and wolf fetish carvings by Fred Bowannie, as well as four intricate and lovely pieces carved out of deer antler by Ruben Najera. They will all go on the site at 1:00 pm Mountain Standard Time, 12:00 pm PST, 2:00 pm CST and 3:00 pm EST.
